The 2026 Italian Grand Prix takes place from 4 to 6 September at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, just north of Milan. The circuit is easily reached by train from central Milan.
The recommended way to reach Monza is by train from Milano Centrale or Milano Porta Garibaldi. Take the S8, S9 or S11 suburban lines to Monza station (10–12 minutes), then follow the blue circuit signage for a 10-minute walk to the Vedano gate, or use the Black Line shuttle bus (€6 return, or included in the €10 integrated ticket).
An alternative is the S7 line from Porta Garibaldi to Biassono-Lesmo Parco, which stops right by the circuit near Gate D, ideal for Lesmo grandstands.
From Milan, the integrated Grand Prix ticket (€10) includes return train travel from any Milan station to Monza FS plus the Black Shuttle between Monza station and the circuit. Trains run every 6–10 minutes on race days.
Driving is possible but traffic and parking around the Parco di Monza are heavily restricted; public transport is strongly recommended.
Championship context: After round 12 at Zandvoort, Kimi Antonelli leads the drivers' standings with 242 points, 59 ahead of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton (both 183, Russell ahead on countback). Mercedes top the constructors' championship with 425 points, 87 clear of Ferrari (338). Monza is Ferrari's home race and a key opportunity to close the gap.
